Is it possible that if I'd actually launched Affinity Photo a few days earlier, it would have found an update, even though the update was not posted at on that web page? I don't know. In this case I was told about 1.7.2 when I launched Affinity Photo to respond to a thread (this post: ).

Looking at the release dates, they are the same 1.7.2 for Windows and Mac was releases the same day, 16th of August.Īs an initial matter, that Affinity forum link you gave is to a thread for "Affinity Publisher for macOS - 1.7.2", so apparently a different product and a different OS. I know Widows started much later but didn't realise that the updates were still behind Mac.
