For example, when I cast Booming Blade 5e on a green stairwell, I usually throw it on the first free turn and then quickly move to the adjacent tile, triggering my glyph on the free turn. One of my favorite tricks with Booming Blade is to use it on a “safe” tile while triggering a glyph on the adjacent tile.

This Build and its mechanics are very similar to those used in the classic game of D&D (the one that got me into gaming). After that, it’s easy to find more information about 5e booming blade spells in my Magic The Gathering Guide: Booming Blade.

If you’ve never played the original version of this Build series of magic spells, I recommend you start with the Builds Guide “Beguiling Shadow.” This will teach you the basic strategies and techniques of this popular 5e Build. You can even keep the enemies close to you by using the Booming Blade’s speed boost, allowing you to move quickly between attacks. Cast a ruby picture and use the Booming Blade as often as possible to keep the enemies close to you when you get the opportunity. Cast a twin booming, then immediately follow up with a ruby shot or another attack. If you have only one target left (which you should if you’re using the Booming Blade 5e build), cast Booming Blade on the same point as your other three attacks don’t use the Booming Blade on the second target. It is essential not to use the Booming Blade until you have at least two targets. The “twin booming” strategy is also effective for this Build. Your other option is to use the Booming Blade to get the enemy close to you so that you can follow up with an arcane attack. If the enemy is standing in front of a group of opponents, your pet will likely be killed first. Hitting the right target with the Booming Blade 5e build will require you to cast a spell on the middle of your opponent’s row of opponents if there’s an opening, your pet will eliminate the enemy before the Booming Blade gets a chance to do any damage. A good pet that deals out enough damage to take out an opponent is a great tool to have for this Build. The first option for handling multiple opponents is to use your pet. The follow-up is to get Booming Blade to someone who isn’t close enough to you so that you can free yourself from being attacked. The idea, however, is to start with a small amount of wear and maintain the opponents occupied while you deal out massive damage. If they get the “bloom” effect from you, then it’ll do its damage instantly and keep the enemies stuck together. The basic idea of the Booming Blade 5e build is to do all of the damage in the middle of your enemies, then charge them with a green flame blade and finish them off with the Booming Blade. For Booming Blade 5e, you have two options for dealing with multiple targets: You can either move in between them (if you’re on the side of the enemy), or you can use your pet to deal out massive damage. Of course, this isn’t always a simple task. Crits add bonus damage to a hit, and you’ll be able to get some in on the enemy before he has a chance to blink away. Should you crit the target with the Booming Blade, however, then you’ll deal even more damage. If you don’t hit the target while casting that spell, Booming Blade will fail.

As you’re casting this spell, however, you still want to create a full melee combo attack against one enemy at the spell’s range so that you can quickly apply that damaging bonus action to the mob.

However, should you cast Booming Blade 5e too soon, then the enemy won’t have anything to stand against it? If you don’t make a full combo, the enemy won’t have any way to Dodge the Booming Blade. Second, the damage that Booming Blade can do is very significant, around 400 damage per hit! It’s also instant, so you won’t have to wait for anything to build up. So what exactly makes Booming Blade 5e an excellent weapon to use for PvP? First, it is instant, so when you cast it, you should be able to get off a couple of shots and immediately start doing more damage. Using Booming Blade 5e for a PvP encounter, such as on a mob that is about to attack you, can help you get that extra attack you need.
